2023년 11월에 광주 김대중 컨벤션센터에서 열리는 제 21회 국제광융합산업전시회에 참가했습니다.  

광융합 기술과 제품을 볼수 있는 국내 최대규모이며, 특히, 이번 전시회는 광산업기업들의 다양한 광융합 신기술을 보여주는 전시회로, 120여개의 유망기업과 지원기관이 참여하였고, 15개국 100여명의 바이어가 참여하였습니다. 국내 디지털 헬스케어 바이오산업 등 세미나도 함께 열려 신지식을 획득하는 좋은 기회였습니다.  대한민국의 기술을 자랑하여 각국의 관심을 이끌어내는 전시회였습니다. 

We participated in the 21st International Photonic Convergence Industry Exhibition held at the Kim Daejung Convention Center in Gwangju in November 2023. This is the largest-scale exhibition in Korea where you can see photonic convergence technologies and products. In particular, this exhibition showcased various new photonic convergence technologies from photonic industry companies, with over 120 promising companies and support organizations participating, and over 100 buyers from 15 countries. It was also a great opportunity to acquire new knowledge, with seminars on domestic digital healthcare and the bioindustry. It was an exhibition where we showcased Korea's advanced technology to draw interest from various countries. 

(주)에스모듈은 MPO Cassette를 가지고 행사에 참여하였습니다. 

이번 전시회에서 ㈜에스모듈의 이민오 대표가 광주광역시장 표창을 수상하였습니다. 이는 이민오 대표의 개인역량과 광융합산업에 대한 전문성, 그리고, 그간 ㈜에스모듈이 걸어온 수행 실적, 광융합산업 발전 기여도 등을 고려하여 선정되었습니다. 특히, 광융합산업에 대한 인식의 전환과 제품 활용의 용이성, 광교육 컨텐츠 개발 등 실제 광융합산업의 실생활에서의 적용분야에 대한 확장성에 대한 연구가 크게 반영되었습니다.

At this exhibition, CEO, Mr. Min-oh Lee, received a commendation from the Mayor of Gwangju. This commendation was awarded in recognition of his individual capabilities, expertise in the photonic convergence industry, the performance record of S-MODUL, and our contributions to the development of the photonic convergence industry. In particular, the research reflecting a significant shift in the perception of the photonic convergence industry, the ease of product utilization, the development of photonic education content, and the expansion of applications in real-life scenarios played a large role.
